OneNet’s commitment to the security of its own systems and bolstering the security status of the New Zealand Cloud’s Industry as whole can be exhibited through its allegiance to the Cloud Security Alliance and the Cloud Computing Code of Practice. OneNet became the ninth cloud computing provider in the world - alongside Microsoft to register their Cloud Security Alliance STAR risk profile. As well as this, OneNet was among the early few New Zealand cloud computing providers to sign up to the Cloud Computing Code of Practice.
Having been the first Cloud Service Provider in New Zealand to be awarded ISO27001 certification for it's managed services, OneNet is well placed to help firms mitigate threats and secure their data in its respective hosted environments. ISO27001 is widely recognised as the gold standard of information security standards. ISO27001 sets the parameters for establishing an information security management system (ISMS), an approach to managing sensitive company information so that it remains secure.
