About

A New Zealand cloud pioneer, with roots back to 1983.

OneNet Limited was founded in 2000 by Paulette and Michael Snowden, their third successful entrepreneurial IT company since 1983. A year earlier their sister company, Great Elk, shipped one of the world's first SaaS products, a full year before Salesforce. That heritage, being innovative in a fast-changing information technology market, is reflected in OneNet being New Zealand's first cloud service provider, and is still how we operate today.

OneNet didn't appear overnight. It's the third act in a 40-plus year story of New Zealand IT entrepreneurship, from IBM PCs in 1983, to global CRM in the 1990s, to one of the world's earliest SaaS launches in 1999, to the first New Zealand computing cloud in 2000 and to Grizzly AI and OneNet AI today.

1983

Financial Systems Limited

1992

The Great Elk Company Limited

OneNet Limited

OneNet AI Limited

OneNet AI commenced in 2025 to provide New Zealand organisations a local, end-to-end partner for AI adoption.
